When I was little and eating breakfast, I always had to get my morning sports. To do this I would always turn on ESPN. Now there was ESPN news or SportsCenter. I didn’t have the hour to get all the highlights for SportsCenter, so the half-hour ESPN news was the way to go for me. This was the only way I was able to watch my favorite sports teams. I would also read the paper. The sports section was always mine and my father would always yell at me wondering where it was. I loved looking at the stats and seeing what my favorite players did. Now things are different with smartphones and being able to look up highlights on the spot. I rarely even watch regular tv anymore and I just watch the highlights on YouTube or look up the stats on the ESPN website on my phone. Things have gotten more virtual and its easier to access the things. In the future things will get even easier. I would want to change how the networks do their games; I don’t want to have to pay for an extra service just to watch my Chicago Bears on Sundays. I understand it’s a money thing but let me pay extra on my Hulu tv just to see my favorite team. I believe that would be worth it and I can see services doing that in the future.
