I have learned so much this semester coming from a zero Spanish background to being able to talk for 5+ minutes with no assistance. This semester has taught me that I can learn a second language. Some of the things that I learned as a beginner are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vocabulary<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basic grammar rules<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spanish 101 is not only about learning the language it is also about Spanish and Hispanic cultures and people. I became familiar with Hispanic Universities, siestas and how hispanic people will often greet each other with a friendly kiss to the cheek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
