Exploring Culture

I was able to learn using the resources from TV shows, magazines, and especially music. Music is a big part of my Spanish learning because I love listening to it and singing along with the words. It helps a lot to have my phone nearby while I am listening so when there is a word I’m not familiar with I can just look it up. There are also many English translations of Spanish songs which can help with getting familiar with what they are talking about.

Presentational Speaking

I did a variety of oral presentations during my time in this class. They focused on cultural aspects of Latin America and Spain. It focused on art, music, entertainment, geography, etc.

Interpretive Listening

There were a good amount of videos provided for cultural enrichment and to enhance the lesson topics.
