Computer have made the world safer in numerous ways, one way in my opinion computers have made us all aware of things happening in the world. For example, has made major improvements to the medical field such as MRI, CT scans and x-ray machines. Computers have also made it easier to accurately diagnose patients to detect diseases at its earliest convenience with patient monitoring. Next is location services this one came to mind because I have a iPhone and it uses location services for many things such as Maps/GPS, for example it can give you the weather several days in advance which could help someone know the weather in the destination city so that they may be aware of certain dangers they might face. It is also used for sharing locations in the event you or someone you love go missing, you will be able to see there last known location with coordinates as well. This is a huge advancement to technology because it can save numerous lives and help to track suspects in the event. Lastly, a big one the safety systems in vehicles such as Tesla’s for example they have added advanced driver assistance systems which help with blind spots, back up cameras, and also auto pilot. These systems have been a huge innovation besides having the car be all electric, it consistently provides real time data by scanning the exterior of the car which helps detect a nearby presence when driving to help avoid collisions with other vehicles. Also auto pilot is great but im not sure if I would use it but it can be a great addition to someone who is om a long drive on a empty back road, this feature most likely scans the surroundings and follows the lines on the road, the computer in this car is very well programmed and well equipped. Furthermore, these are 3 reasons why I think computers have made the world a safer place.
