4 ethical issues that I identified were privacy, security, access and accuracy. One ethical issue that arises is privacy, privacy is a big concern. Keeping personal information from unauthorized use is huge in protecting that individual or organizations information from being compromised. It also prevents data from being overly collect. The next ethical issue is security, proper security can reduce or stop data breaches. For instance it can stop a hacker from breaching your info when you go to swipe your card at a certain organization such as the gas station or grocery store. The next ethical issue is access, access is a huge one, personal information should only be obtainable to the person themselves or an organization that has a need to know such as law enforcement, medical practices or your employer or organization. This is useful because data can be collected practically from anywhere in the world. Setting these limits to authorized users can be helpful in protecting the sensitive information from being compromised or used for the hackers gain. The last ethical issue is a big one this one is accuracy lots of times data is stored inaccurately which can cause an effect on the person and it could lead to false allegations, for instance if a person went to a hospital and they misdiagnosed them in the system it could cause them to lose their job or be treated a certain way this could have a big impact on not just the person but the organization as they are depending on that worker. For instance if you were in the military and you went to the doctor and they told you that you had a certain illness or certain condition you would most likely be discharged from that service. With that being said entering and storing data accurately is crucial and could cause significant damage if entered incorrectly.
