I learned figurative language from La Siesta de Martes Reading. This reading also taught me how to analyze poetic readings. I had to analyze what the author was trying to say in this quote: “intempestivos espacios sin sembrar”. It was very difficult to understand his figurative language I reread the reading several times to be able to understand what the author was trying to communicate. I also had to use the dictionary to understand some of the words he wrote because even after translating the words I had not even heard of the word before in English. The dictionary was helpful with understanding poetic words that the author was using. Such as the word “bermejas”, even after translating the word I still did not know what it was. I had to use the dictionary to learn that it is a type of red pigment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n
