Select four other majors offered by ODU and explain how those majors relate to cybersecurity.

There are four majors that relate heavily to cybersecurity. The first and one of the most major ones in my personal opinion would be Criminal Justice. Cybercrime has grown rampant with the increase in technology. Because of this increase in cybercrime there has to be law and order brought down to these cybercriminals. What punishments should cybercriminals receive, how should law enforcement deal with cybercriminals, and how should the judicial system respond to a case of cybercrime are all factors having to do with criminal justice that are linked with the cybersecurity field. Another major related to Cybersecurity could be psychology. I chose psychology because it relates to a large number of related sub-fields like criminology, sociology, and victimology. These areas in psychology answer questions in the field like, What causes cybercriminals to commit to these acts? Why and how does technology impact cybercrime? Or, Why does this person who has had their information stolen not know the severity of their lack of safety on the internet? The third major I chose is related to Leadership. I chose this major because it makes sense for topics such as planning and organization. Along with this, having a leader could also bring up the discussion on how to stop more cybersecurity breaches from occurring. So I think leadership is an important major linked with cybersecurity. For my last major related to Cybersecurity I chose Information Technology (IT). I chose IT because it deals with keeping information on a software or hardware based system. I know that cyberattacks are done for the sole purpose of trying to steal that information on these software or hardware based systems. So with this a topic keeping IT and cybersecurity closely related is; How can we defend from these cyberattacks and keep our data safe? In my opinion these related majors are closely related to cybersecurity.
