I feel like worldwide communication has helped the world grow. Computers serve more than just a means of communication.

Finances and banking information are stored on computers today. Computers have also improved our educational system by allowing students to work without paper and asynchronously if needed. This allows for students to complete schoolwork from anywhere in the world if they need to. Unfortunately like most technological advancements we use today there is a way or group that mistreats these devices from their intended function. One form of this is all the scams and phishing attempts to steal online information. Another way computers have made the world less safe are the hackers from other countries specifically targeting other countries infrastructure.
