Four ethical issues that arise when storing electronic information about individuals are privacy, data inaccuracies , system implantation, and security.

Privacy- With storing personal information it is very unsafe and it raises many privacy concerns . When storing personal information it can potentially violate a person’s right to privacy. It is very important to establish privacy policies because when unauthorized users access the information it can potentially lead to identity theft, stalking, and other forms of theft .To protect people’s sensitive information, strong privacy policies and secure systems are important.

System Implantation – Refers to the process of installing a new or upgraded information system, known as system implementation. After the design and development stages, it involves the system’s actual building, testing, and deployment. It starts to glitch and not keep up with the user’s task. A crucial stage in the system development life cycle is the implementation phase, which entails tasks including data conversion, user training, coding, testing, and system deployment.  A smooth and efficient transition from the user’s ability is the goal of system implantation. The same efforts amongst developers, testers, system administrators, and end users are necessary to ensure that the system’s upgrades and changes are successfully implemented.

Data Inaccuracies-Inaccurate data may also present an ethical dilemma. Information saved electronically is prone to the rare error. Many individuals would be worried if data were lost during transit as they wouldn’t be able to verify whether the information was true. Issues with access control would then result from this. If you provide false information, there’s a chance that numerous unapproved parties will gain access to private information, putting you at risk.

Security- This becomes a serious concern as soon as security is compromised. Sensitive and highly personal information may become accessible to unauthorized individuals in the event of a security breach. Because they would need to launch an inquiry to determine how and who has access to specific personal information, organizations may also suffer significant financial damages. Additionally, corporations may be held legally liable for failing to protect sensitive information when personal data is retained and disclosed.
