Cyber technology has created a whole new range of avenues for workplace misconduct. To put it another way, it might have made it possible for unauthorized parties to access company data.
This may also result in a hostile work environment if colleagues start pursuing or harassing one another. Since most of these jobs can be completed remotely, they are typically relatively simple to complete. The rapid advancement of technology has made it possible to find a wealth of information on remote work that may result in bullying or harassment. Furthermore, an employee may misuse their access privileges to steal company data, including customer or company information, for their own gain or to harm the business. Which, if it spreads far enough, may hurt the business in a variety of ways, including by resulting in a security breach. As we know security breaches are very hard to recover from , some companies are never capable of recovering .Companies risk losing far more money than they are making because so many jobs these days are done from home, in addition to stealing sensitive company information and fostering a hostile work environment. This sometimes occurs as a result of people being accustomed to working from home and beginning to do things that they shouldn’t be doing while on the clock. When they should be working, people will steal time by using their phones or, in extreme cases, by leaving the house. This costs the company money since, although they are paid, the employees are not performing their share of the job. In general, cyber technology may result in a number of issues for the business, such as time theft or information leaks to the public that lead the business to lose far more than it makes. But given how quickly technology is developing, I believe that workplace deviance will always be a worry.
