Dr. Murat Kuzlu (Senior Member \u2013 IEEE)\u00a0 joined Old Dominion University (ODU) of the Electrical Engineering Technology Department in 2018. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and\u00a0Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.\u00a0In 2006, he joined the Energy Institute\u00a0of TUBITAK-MAM (Scientific and Technological\u00a0Research Council of Turkey \u2013 The Marmara\u00a0Research Center), where he worked as a senior researcher. Before joining ODU, he worked as a Research Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech\u2019s Advanced Research Institute. His research interests include smart grids, smart cities, Trustworthy AI, next generation networks, and embedded systems. He is currently an Associate Professor at Old Dominion University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Vukica Jovanovi\u0107 is currently an associate professor in the Engineering Technology Department at Old Dominion University. Her research is focusing on mechatronics, product identification, product life-cycle management, assembly systems, collaborative engineering, automation, and energy efficiency. She had internships in engineering services, aerospace, and power generation industries. Dr. Jovanovic received M.Eng.(dipl.ing.) degree from University of Novi Sad, Serbia, in Robotics, Mechatronics and Automation and M.Sc. (Magistar) degree in Production Systems Design, both at Department of Industrial Engineering. She received a PhD in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue
University.<\/p>\n\n\n

Dr. Otilia Popescu received the Engineering Diploma and M.S. degree from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, Romania, and the PhD degree from Rutgers University, all in Electrical and Computer Engineering. While at Rutgers her research was conducted at WINLAB in the area of wireless communications. Her research interests are in the general areas of communication systems, control theory, signal processing and engineering education. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Technology, Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, where her teaching covers electrical circuits, systems and signals, and communications courses. She has worked in the past for the University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at San Antonio, Rutgers University, and Politehnica University of Bucharest. She is a senior member of the IEEE and participates often in the technical program committee for IEEE conferences. She serves as associate editor for IEEE Communication Letters. In the community, Dr. Popescu is interested in stimulating K-12 students interest for excellence in mathematics and problem solving. She serves as local manager for Math Kangaroo International Competition and organizes the competition locally each year in March.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
