Experience

In my previous college career, I pursued a Bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics. While still in school, I completed volunteer work with a nutrition education program based out of Saint Joseph University that engaged with SNAP eligible participants. I truly enjoyed interacting with the young children in my local community and learning more about their needs and what I could do to help. I also became a member of the Nutrition and Dietetics’ Club at my university. I participated in health and nutrition fairs as well as helping to organize events. I gained invaluable knowledge and skills in communication as well as leadership that can be translated to any group-oriented work environment.
