I am a history major studying at Old Dominion university to become a teacher. Coming from Williamsburg, Virginia, I already have a significant historical background that helps be more efficiently achieve my major-specific goals. I chose to take Spanish as schools do not always require students to be fully fluent in English. Therefore, it is my job as the teacher to be able to engage properly with students of all gender, race, and even language.
