My Major/ Parallel Major

Nurses Support Their Young: Becoming a Nurse MentorMy current intended major is Nursing. I choose this major because I have always had a passion to be in the medical field and to help promote the importance of staying healthy. Specifically, I chose this field because of the relationship connection between patients and nurses.

Parallel Major: Health Services Administration

I chose Health Services Administration because I have grown an interest in the business field but yet still have a passion for health care and helping others. I was drawn towards this major because of the leadership role that graduates take on after college. By earning a degree in Health Services Administration, I will have the opportunity to gain management and leadership experience, specifically in healthcare.
