Reflection #1

My conversation with Geneviève was great.  There were a few times where vocabulary eluded me.  For example, “conduire” was right on the tip of my tongue when we were talking about music and that I listen to different kinds of music while I’m driving than when I’m studying.  I have had Geneviève as a partner before and she is great to talk to. We have things in common and it always feels like a fairly natural conversation. I felt like I understood most of what she was saying, though I definitely still need to work on my own vocabulary recall.  That said the required topics I felt fairly comfortable talking about, even if there were a few words that escaped me. I am definitely discovering that I am better at reading and listening than I am at speaking and writing. I generally know what words mean when I see or hear them, but have a harder time recalling the words when I am writing or speaking.
