I feel this gif reflects how I feel regarding cell biology at this point in the semester because I feel like Osmosis Jones is talking to me in this scenario. In the context of this scene, a sentient pill is dropped down into the digestive system where Osmosis Jones is investigating. It has been a while since I’ve seen this film but I recall that Jones is talking to his new pal about how he (the pal) doesn’t really know what it is like inside the body as he, despite being made to help the body, is unaware of how it actually is in there. I can relate to this gif because despite being aware that cells exist and literally make up my entire being; there are many intricacies and complexities that they possess. There are complex processes happening to sustain the existence of cells 24/7. I am like the pill being dropped down unaware of all the complexities of the body and learning as I go.
