In this clinically based project, our group created a clinical-based dilemma centered around the Every Student Succeeds Act and the ASHA Code of Ethics. We used a decision-making model to formulate a solution to your clinical dilemma. Our clinical dilemma was Is it obligatory, permissible, or impermissible for a clinician to recommend a non-client child with undiagnosed mild-moderate Dyslexia for evaluation if the child, guardians, or teachers have not expressed concerns for the child having Dyslexia? Please enjoy the presentation provided.
