Engineers make cyber networks safer by installing virus protection to protect the networks. They use different network tools and routers and firewalls to protect the network from internal and external threats. Engineers check out their networks on daily basis to make sure there are no threats and they test their networks for any weak points.  Cyber attacks and cyber crime is one of the leading and most common crimes in the world. People are able to steal personal information, hack computers, and hold ransom attacks to get money from the end users or the person they are after. Engineers create safety protocols for the networks to prevent any kind of security breaches that could attack the network. They can make the networks safer by creating a new network to keep unauthorized persons from accessing information that is secured. The engineers will hide the more secure data behind firewalls to make it harder for a cyber hacker to gain access. Engineers can create a honeypot to lead the attackers to a false area to keep them from finding the data that is secure. The main purpose of the engineers are to identify the threats and weak points in the software and computer systems. They protect organizations data and networks from hackers, any form of cyber crime, and cyber hackers. Without engineers we would not be able to keep the networks secure and stop hackers from gaining access to secure data that could be exposed and released to unauthorized persons. We would be unable to stop the attacks and would continuously be working to stop them instead of working to make the network more secure and improving the network.
