In this grant proposal for an elementary school library, a three-part process of weeding, collection analysis, and accessioning of more diverse resources is outlined. The impact on students was intended to increase the amount of book lending by providing more choices that students would identify with, and to encourage increased communication and collaboration with teachers. A budget for $5000 is included along with the project description, a discussion of the student demographics and impact, and suggested resources.
