One of my favorite foods to eat are Mexican food. I go about 3 times a month. Sometimes I go with my family, my sister is African American like me but she is fluent in speaking spanish. When at the Mexican resturants she orders and converses in spanish with the waiters. I try to order in spanish but I often get corrected but I am learning.

Another way I practice what I learn is when I watch TV. On netlfix, there is a show called “Queen of the South”. On that show they speak spanish 95% of the time but I do have the closed captions on. Because I watch the show so much I find myself repeating a lot of the spanish phrases they say and when I am completing assignments I use them as well.
