An organization can gain a lot form the NIST Cyber Security Framework. Being able to take their current plan and compare it to see where some holes or gaps could be is very beneficial in protecting the organization as a whole. Also it allows the organization to stay up and running in case there was a successful Cyber attack. It assists in identifying the most important activities to assure critical operations and service delivery, helps prioritize investments, and provides a common language that all members of the organization can utilize for cybersecurity and risk management.
