My name is Angi Wood, I am a nursing student in my third semester at Tidewater Community College and concurrently enrolled at Old Dominion University. I work as a nursing care partner at Virginia Beach General Hospital. I took the care partner position to gain some hands-on experience in the nursing field before obtaining my degree(s). It is a great opportunity for me to learn and observe experienced nurses. I am excited to take this next step at ODU to further my career.

I moved to Virginia Beach from Colorado two years ago with my husband and daughter (17). When I’m not studying I enjoy running, fitness classes, and working in my yard. I am getting accustomed coastal Virginia, it is such a contrast from the mountains of Colorado. I am loving my proximity to the beach, and any day spent at the beach with a good murder mystery is a good day for me.
