I work as a nursing care partner at Virginia Beach General Hospital. I took the care partner position to gain some hands-on experience in the nursing field before obtaining my degree(s). It is a great opportunity for me to learn and observe experienced nurses. I am excited to take this next step at ODU to further my career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I moved to Virginia Beach from Colorado two years ago with my husband and daughter (17). When I&#8217;m not studying I enjoy running, fitness classes, and working in my yard. I am getting accustomed coastal Virginia, it is such a contrast from the mountains of Colorado.
