Module 5:

I chose to include Module 5 because it was an interesting way to reflect on how future events could affect me. I liked that I had to discuss a positive enhancement that was internal and also external. Normally I don’t think about moments that are so specific to the examples listed on the assignment. I learned a lot about my sense of self and was able to envision that in future situations of importance. This artifact is one that I will be able to consider in the future as I come across these significant times.

Module 3:

I decided to place Module 3 in this ranking because of the significance it has to me. I have found that meeting people throughout my lifetime, it is always the people you least expect that you get along with so well. I have had the same best friend since the fourth grade, but things had not always been peachy. We would disagree at times but as we have grown out of the drama and trials of 4-12, we grew together as people.

The saying opposites attract is an honest one because she balances me out like no other. We have learned how to nurture our friendship in a way that requires a lot of communication and understanding of one another. Since we took the time to talk to each other and care for each other, we have only grown stronger as friends even though we do not have a lot of the same interests.

Module 12:

This module was one of my favorites because of the different ways aggression can be described. As a passionate person, I often feel like others may mistake it for aggression. Seeing a list of what could be considered aggression to others also made me realize that how complex I think aggression could be. I often see how different aggression can be between men and women when reflecting on the questionnaire. When women are considered aggressive it usually reflects on something at a much deeper level of complexity than a man. For example, men get angry over inanimate objects while women typically get angry over something like an emotional betrayal.

Module 6:

The archive for Module 6 almost took the number 1 spot. I really enjoyed doing this assignment because I was able to reflect on some of my best traits and explain how they make up my personality. It made me reminisce on how similar I am to some of the people I have met at ODU and the great times I have with them. I value my honesty and my sense of humor the most and this assignment was a great way to express that importance to me.
