You will be prompted, weekly, for various items to archive. Please refer to the Google Docs document in the e-Portfolio folder in Bb, which will provide tips on how to store and organize these artifacts. By the time this component of your eP is due, you will have a rich repository from which to draw. You will choose the top five artifacts that you believe best represent your learning experience in this course. Each item should contain a representative picture and a summary for why it was selected, including why it is representative of your learning experience.

After completing the survey, I noticed that there were some slight inconsistencies with my answers. In the first part, I agreed in the way I think most people would. However, the difference lies in the work of individuals. The amount of things I have personally done for these causes is slim. I participate in my community and give back, but not specifically to homelessness. I think this is similar to how most people would have voted. On one hand, we think that more should be done. But when it comes down to it, few want to truly put in the work needed to make a difference. This is the purest form of cognitive dissonance.

- Over the holiday weekend, I was able to spend time with my newborn sister Shay and my dad’s side of the family. This was really exciting because I had not gotten to meet her yet. She was very small and so adorable to hold. Meeting my new baby sister brought out my loving trait.
- I currently observe a first grade classroom at a primary school in Chesapeake. Being an educator to a group of students that young requires you to wear a multitude of different “hats”. The teacher would have to act as a teacher, mother, principal, and friend depending on the situation. There was an incident where a student fell down while playing outside. Although he had been doing something he was not supposed to, seeing him upset brought out my sensitive side.
- My sorority held our COB Tie Dye with Pi Phi event (rush event) last week. Being the social chair, I did my best to get to meet all the women who showed up to our event. It was very exciting to see how engaged we all were in conversation. Last that night my president took me aside to thank me for being such a great role model and friend to the new ladies. This event brought out my friendly side.
- Today I went home to have dinner with my mom & sister. While there, I did my laundry and helped my younger sister put hers away as well. I also helped my mom clean up after dinner and did the dishes as a thank you for inviting me. I have a single mom and my younger sister is a bit young to help with a majority of the house chores. This brought out my helpful side.
- My boyfriend and I went to see the new Spider Man movie at the Cinema café. I’m sure you don’t need my recommendation, but it is a great movie, 5 stars! The movie had a fantastic cast that was garmented to make you laugh. After we left, we were both cracking jokes about the 3 different Spider Man’s that appeared, quoting our favorite lines, etc. This brought out my funny side.
I chose thia activity becuase I was interested to see my true self in situations. Each day I was able to find a situation where one of my top 5 characteristics could shine through. It was an eye opening experience to reflect on these emotions after the day was finished. I plan to use this activity to in my daily life.
I think this activity is a great resource to use for personal reflection. This test gave me the ability to self diagnose my top self across situations that I normally would not give a second thought to. I think this activity should be used to create a more positive lifestyle. While also noting that this act can promote more intentional feelings and thoughts instead of reactions.
