I truly think the Editing Skills Checklist helps me a lot because it provides me with helpful information on bettering my writing, it helps me with knowing what I tend to struggle with, and it helps me point out the lessons on when I actually learned it. The editing skills checklist has been helpful because it provides me with helpful information on bettering my writing such as what aspects I am weak on and what aspects I am strong on. Receiving my editing papers back, shows me exactly the things that I had missed out on. If I have a foundation on the things that i am missing I will not continue to keep having the same mistakes but better thing mistakes I did make in order to better my writing as  a person in general. Because f the editing skills checklist it shows me all the aspects that I need to work on. It shows how many things I missed and it helps me put in examples on the things I need work on. It also shows m how many times I struggled with that one topic throughout the paper. The editing skills checklist allows me to see exactly what aspects I need to spend more time on and what aspects I am doing well in. For example , I tend to struggle with punctuation aspects and garbled sentences. With the editing skills checklist it shows me where I can go to fix my problem and shows me what I need to do different in order to avoid this problem next time. Because we have to write the example and the location on where to look for the mess up we did , it helps me learn more about how to not mess up on other aspects as well. The editing skills checklist is a big help to me because it gives me a guide on the misplacement that I am doing while writing, and it also helps me figure out what I need to do for the next time to not do the same mistake as before.
