For me, my sports media consumption has changed a little in the past five years. Back then I used to get my sports media information from either reading the newspaper, in a sports magazine, listening to a talk show on the radio, or turning on the tv and watching the news coverage or just watching Sports Center. I often only got my sports media information in the morning or in the evening mainly on Mondays. Nowadays I get my sports media information through social media. Mainly I use Twitter, Instagram, or just the sports apps like ESPN. Due to the evolution of technology, I am mainly checking sports news updates or score updates multiple times a day due to the notifications I get for them. I regularly look on those apps because that is where I get most of my information from. In the next five years I would predict that this way of gathering sports media information won’t change as much, especially the way of the apps because that is the new way of communication now. One thing I would say that could change the way we use apps on our device is that it might be more advanced than it is now. If I had a magic wand and could change one thing is that we could have more information on the conversations being said about trades and other important situations between teams or organizations.
