In the lesson plan, i have selected to do multiple activities. Starting with a warm-up to gauge what the students already know. The students will them be given a vocabulary chart with travel related words and the definition. They will them go around asking their classmates travel related questions in order to fill out the chart. They will have to form the questions for who they are trying to find. Finally, the students will create a short creative story based off the answers they got from the previous activity. The final activity will summarize what they have learned and require students to pull it all together.

Warm-up (10 minutes)

Objective #2
- Teacher will list vocabulary on the board and create and open discussion environment by asking them questions based off the vocabulary.
- For example, we could begin talking about speed limits and what it means to follow speed limits, the consequences of not following speed limits etc. I could ask the students if anyone has ever been pulled over for speeding.
- Students will answer the questions asked using their own personal experiences
- Teacher will pass out vocabulary list and definition to each student for class work
Vocabulary: Find Someone Who… (15-20 minutes)

Objective #2
- Teacher will hand each student individual sheets with a list of questions. See appendix below for examples.
- Student will be required to ask their classmates questions based on what they are trying to find.
- For example, the worksheet says “Find someone who has a bus pass” the students will have to for that into the question “do you have a bus pass in order to as their partner.
- After 10 minutes of going around the class, the students will be asked to share the name one student who answered their question.
Creative Writing (25 minutes)

Objective #1
- Students will use information from previous activity to create a short story about their classmates travel plans. Students will use vocabulary related to travel to create their short story
- Students will right 2-3 paragraphs.
- Teacher will assist students when needed and observe the class
- Students will turn in the assignment at the end of class as an exit ticket.
