Artifact 2: Representation of My Culture

I chose this item because it has sentimental value. It also does a good way to show how the older houses in El Salvador look like; I visited El Salvador eight years ago and could still to this remember what it smelt like and how it felt to be around people from my culture. I was born in the US but going to El Salvador was almost like “going home”

REFLECTION:

I remember choosing this item when the semester began and thinking about how it felt when I would plug the house in and it would light up on the inside. I chose this because it represented not only the country whose culture I share but also because there was history that came with the little house.
