Queer and Gender Studies

“Goblin Market” was written 1862 by Cristina Rossetti. I just wanted to start off by saying. Wow. What a story! This theory is out of my realm of knowledge but I really enjoyed examining this story with the gender studies theory. There are tones of feminism criticism in here as well but there were a lot of questions that could be asked about the identity and sexual charisma of the sisters. I liked the sense of magical realism and I thought this was one of more enjoyable applications. This was a great story to link with this form of criticism because of its ambiguities in all forms.
