The BYOB session I watched was Chris Shelton and he is co-owner of Cure Coffeehouse.  He starts off talking about how he started the business with his friend and how they were both working regular jobs before launching the business.  His friend had a better job as a Computer Engineer while he worked at Merrill Lynch, and the reason for him leaving was because he wasn’t inspired there.  He then goes on to talk about all the different ventures he started.  One of main points is being your own boss but realizing you may not be at the same time.  He talks about being well capitalized and diversifying your income as well.  Don’t quit your day job until you are ready too.
