Why do you think that<br \/>different patterns are found across the world?<br \/>Before reading the scale I believe that I do not have a social media disorder. I try to lower<br \/>my social media use throughout the day. Lately I have been struggling with focusing and I<br \/>realized that my phone was a big problem, and so I learned to take time away from it. Everyone<br \/>can get off of being addicted to their phone, it&#8217;s just a matter of willpower. After reading the<br \/>scale it seems that I am very close to having a social media disorder. I answered 4 yes out of 9. I<br \/>was very close to what is considered to be a disorder. If you answer 5 out of 9 then you are<br \/>considered to have it, and I was very close to it. I think where you live has a big impact on how<br \/>much social media you will be using. Places like China or low income countries like India are<br \/>less likely to have a lot of social media usage because of their way of life in those places.<br \/>Countries like the United States have a lot of freedom and freedom of expression, so it is more<br \/>likely that we will use the media to our advantage. Social media is starting to become common<br \/>with kids, and mostly everyone is on it now and days. The items in the scale are perfect, I don&#8217;t<br \/>think they need to be reworded.
