The description of a cybersecurity analyst’s job relates to social behaviors because a big part of their job is to find vulnerabilities and try to think how other humans think when they are trying to attack a company, website, etc. They also try to provide guidance and training for user awareness. Doing this will be able to help everyone kind of be on the same page. As well as their other duties, they also monitor how employees interact with one another and see employees’ habits which are huge and relate to social behaviors because being able to identify repeating patterns of behaviors could be what is putting a company at risk. They could also catch an employee who could potentially have malicious intentions because they don’t like the company they work for, their coworkers, etc. She also mentioned in the video that you might work with the government to help to prevent attacks which, as I mentioned earlier, being able to know how humans think. So cybersecurity analysts play a big role in understanding human behaviors and protecting against cyber threats.
