Davin started off at an accounting practice; he then went into IT but was still pursuing his accounting profession. He then got the opportunity to work in the first national digital forensic practice in Australia, then London, and now Hong Kong. In the video, he talks about the common misperceptions people have of digital forensics. A lot of people think they just sit in a white lab coat all day and are stuck in a building. Davin ends up tellings us that he does not do that but instead tells us what digital forensics actually does and how he also does other things, such as finding the bad apple within the company, and he will also investigate things such as death threats. He will go and have to go back and trace where the email originally came from. He also does fraud investigations as well.  After watching this video I am now able to have a really clear understanding of what a digital forensic does!
