After visiting Privacyrights.org, I was able to see public data breaches. When I clicked on the website, the first thing I was able to see was a timeline from 2005 to 2022 of the number of breaches reported in the U.S. and amount of impacted records. It also goes into detail about the type of breaches, types of organizations, and organizations with the most breaches. You are also able to view each state, look up a breach, and see key insights timeline. This website can be very helpful to researchers as it makes their job really easy and accessible. If they are looking for a specific breach in a specific place, they can simply click on the state and be able to see all the types of breaches.
