The relationship between the principals of science and cybersecurity(Week 2 – Journal Entry 2)

The principles of science relate to cybersecurity in the way that we think about cyber advancements and systems. All seven sectors that make the principles of science is one that inherently focus on cybersecurity. With relativism we can see how almost everything changes when technology is introduced making it related to all things. Objectivity is the free manor of the works of cyber professionals and people that take advantage of it, what do we control in these spaces? Parsimony about the simple telling of technology and how to simplify it, you ask the question of why something happens, and you get a simple answer. Empiricism comes from what we experience specially with technology. How do we feel about things and even how the five senses are affected. Protecting rights of people that are studied is ethical neutrality, how companies use our data and the idea of data being used to change our daily lives are things thought about with ethical neutrality. Determinism puts the why to things that involve technology and cybersecurity. Why would someone ignore training or why would someone commit to risky internet activity are all questions asked with determinism. With skepticism we can easily ask and be curious about certain things that are happening in the cyberworld, what was the true motive of a cybercrime or why do you need this information are examples of skepticism. With all these examples it is very easy to see and important to understand the relationship between the principals of science and cybersecurity.
