Assignment 5 was a really good assignment for me, doing the nice acts for people really just made me think differently. Usually at a glance of papers where you have to be interactive with other people to gather information throw me off, but as I completed the nice tasks, I started to feel better myself. I like to think that I am a good person and I do the right things, but this made me feel like I was a good person. I did a series of 5 good things and I think the favorite nice thing I did was making a new gym friend by helping someone out. I remember briefly back in intro to psych we would talk about how doing nice things can help boost mood. When you do good things you feel good and when you do things that do not make you feel good, you do not feel good. Ever since this assignment I have kinda set a standard to go out of my way to actively try to do 3 nice things a week. The picture I am using is when the grinch’s heart grew bigger after being so small, because doing all those nice activites made me feel like I was making a difference and being a better person
