Top Artifacts

You will be prompted, weekly, for various items to archive. Please refer to the Google Docs document in the e-Portfolio folder in Bb, which will provide tips on how to store and organize these artifacts. By the time this component of your eP is due, you will have a rich repository from which to draw. You will choose the top five artifacts that you believe best represent your learning experience in this course. Each item should contain a representative picture and a summary for why it was selected, including why it is representative of your learning experience.

Top Artifact 3

The artifact I am choosing is from module 11, about being happy and selfishness. I chose this module because I felt it was an accurate representation. Of the 10 people I chose I tried to choose a variety of people I knew, not just people I liked or were around me. to me this was the most influential because the people I thought of and the end results made sense to me. The artifacts that mean the most to me are the ones that help me see what I am learning in real life. I think the people who I listed the most as happy were unselfish because to them life is not materialistic. Their happiness is tied to their relationships being in good places, their health being well, being alive. Because they have that outlook I think it is why they are less selfish. The picture I chose to use was the results of the list of people I had.

The artifact that I am choosing is from module 3, the one that discussed whether similarity promotes attraction or whether opposite characteristics lead to attraction. I chose this one because ever since this question I really think about this often and have self reflected on my past relationships. I think I was so drawn to this because based off of the findings I got from people it made me think more and more about the subject. I liked that it made me think on my past relationships and how hearing the views of other people helped me look at those situations in a different light. By relationships I mean all types not just romantic ones. However, initially when I got the assignment I did think romantically but realized I was cutting myself short focusing on one type of relationship. It was also interesting to me that it seemed, a lot of men seemed to think opposites attracted more than girls did.

The pictures I chose were pictures from the questions I asked to people I knew on what phrase they thought was most accurate. This is where I was able to find out what they thought but also some people chose to explain their stance. I really liked this poll because, even though I did ask some people I know for their opinion, the poll helped me organize my findings a lot better. This is where I saw that there seemed to be a noticeable difference between what men and women thought. More men seemed to think opposites attract while more girls responded with similarity with most stating, ” I want someone who is like me.”
