Some economic theories can be used to look at these effects. For example, Game Theory looks at how people play games strategically, and Behavioral Economics studies how people make choices when they don&#8217;t know what the outcome will be. From a social science point of view, the letter shows parts of both Social Conflict Theory and Social Identity Theory. Social Conflict Theory looks at power dynamics and conflicts between people who are affected, while Social Identity Theory looks at how people&#8217;s ideas about who they are affect how they react to
