I have spent 21 years being a technician or leading a group of amazing technicians. At times, I was able to guide their growth, allow them time, and provide the parts, tools or documentation required to do their jobs. Other times, I was responsible for coordinating distance or in-person support from the system engineers. But, when we are away from shore, at sea, and away from a lot of our technical support, it is my job to provide technical guidance and I have gotten the chance to troubleshoot and repair cooling water systems for various RADARs, compressors and dehumidifiers that provide electronic-dry air to high power transmitter waveguides and high power distribution and control equipment.
