As such, I have been responsible for the safe navigation and operation of a 100-ton aircraft carrier and her 5,000 personnel. This leadership opportunity was earned by displaying the ability to communicate across departments, apply problem solving skills under pressure, and prioritize a variety of evolutions while developing teams, enforcing safety and sticking to Environmental, International and Naval regulations. It was a true test and honor to execute a demanding schedule, apply creative solutions to conflicting demands from Engineering, Reactor, Weapons, and many other departments.
