Sample Activities

This section includes three sample activities that I completed that are age and subject appropriate for young English language learners. I created these three activities in a manner that maximizes speaking and communication between students and also allows students the opportunities to further understand sociolinguistic discrepancies between languages. These activities reflect my teaching philosophy through increased verbal communication as well as a lack of rote memorization. They also contain more informal assessments, allowing the students to feel more comfortable experimenting with the target language.
