the overlap in both criminal justice and cybersecurity is simple, crime. Crime has been around for decades and will continue to live on far past our years of existing. The crimes are becoming heavier as people and society in it’s self is becoming more advanced on a daily basis. Cybersecurity and cybercrime is a rather new aspect in the crime world so there is still lots of gray areas. This is where criminal justice steps in to help out. Cybercrime is illegal just like any other crime but it is done through technology. This makes cybercrime harder to deal with because lots of times the attacker is anonymous. These two relate because they are both trying to fight off illegal situations and actions and bring justice to the affected victims by the crime completed.
