These technologies have practically helped on saving victims from being preys of perpetrators by providing technologies like, Encryption, two factor authentication, digital forensics and Biometric technologies (facial recognition, finger print identification, video surveillance, and iris recognition). In this way technology has refined many tricks which could have been manipulated and exploited by offender. Even though technology has been the market place for offenders and victims, it has also been a source of solution for crimes which could have been impossible to tackle without technology.
