Welcome to my cybersecurity e-portfolio!
My name is Birhane, and I recently (2023) graduated from ODU with a degree in cybersecurity. I am fervently dedicated to exploring the dynamic and ever-evolving field of cybersecurity, where my journey has been enriched by a diverse range of technical and non-technical courses. Through my academic pursuits, I have acquired a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies within this domain, preparing me to tackle challenges with both proficiency and enthusiasm. I am eager to leverage my skills and knowledge to make meaningful contributions to the cybersecurity landscape, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead in my career.
On the technical front, I’ve extensively explored the core principles of cybersecurity, delving into areas such as cryptography, programming(python), network security, and system security in all OS platforms. My expertise extends to digital forensics, information literacy, and research, affording me a comprehensive grasp of cybersecurity’s intricate technical facets. Moreover, my academic pursuits have encompassed non-technical realms, including the social, political, and economic dimensions of cybersecurity. This holistic approach has equipped me to analyze cyber warfare impacts, understand the interplay between cyber technology and society, formulate cybersecurity strategies and policies, and navigate the nuances of cyber law and ethics. Through this well-rounded education, I’ve developed a multidisciplinary perspective that enables me to tackle cybersecurity challenges from diverse angles effectively.

Other than the above hard skills , I’m also a strong communicator.
