Summary of Gained Insights on Cyber-Law course!

In this course I have gained some insights on how legality and technology meets and tries to work together. In this intersection everything from freedom of expression, privacy, internet regulation, information gathering and access, to intellectual property (copyright, patent, trademark and trade secret, economic espionage) and citizen’s right to information are all touched. I also understand that in this information era government and legal authorities have limits of operation not to exceed and violate the freedom of expression and else enacted under the constitution (fourth: search and seizure and fourteenth: due process), courts and policies of the land. This course has also been an introduction to NSA’s some legal requirement for example on surveillance (FISA and national security letters). Basic international laws like the united nation charter, Jus ad bellum, Jus in Bello and Tallinn Manual has also been an introduction to the international war convention which can be expanded to cyber-war in my context
