Summary:
The drawing above is an IgM cell receptor. This molecule contains two heavy chains and two light chains. It is also accompanied by an Iga and Igb heterodimer. There are 14 glycosylation sites, which are on the two heavy chains and Iga/Igb heterodimer. Although, this molecule is very different from the soluble pentameric IgM. The pentameric IgM includes 10 heavy chains and 10 light chains. It is also not accompanied by Iga and Igb heterodimer.
