The thing that helped me make connections in my other coursework in finding similarities in my classes. For instance I had comparative animal physiology and we learned about a lot of different parts of animals that go into things like diving capacity and hormone production. From taking this class, I can breakdown and better understand what goes on during a cell that is making these changes and how they might use the energy produced from the cell. Chemistry we learned about different chemical reactions like endothermic and exothermic. This can be related to cell biology because different processes give off energy and some take energy, which can be broken down to a cellular level and give me a better understanding of what cells go through during processes we may face. Breaking the information down learned in other classes to a cellular level helped me in this class be able to better understand and grasp the information being learned.
