Writing Reflection Three
Reflection essay three
This semester has been rocky it started good, but immediately after it just crushed down the hill. Due to the ongoing Covid-19, we are learning, working, and connecting in different ways. Occasionally online classes present a challenge because learning an actual class from my room feels different. Not only that but for most students and professors virtual learning is a new concept. I was challenged at first but eventually, it started to become less exasperating. Since the pandemic, I had to adjust my schedule, which pulled me away from completing my given assignments on time, and on top of that, the lack of internet for a week left me with many assignments that I wasn’t able to finish any of them on time. However, my professors been very understanding of my situation. My University 150 class has given me a push towards the progress I made in writing. Before that, I didn’t know what the right way was to approach any form of writing. Although attending this course in week eleven is different that still hasn’t discouraged me from pursuing my goals of writing well. The journals that I wrote since the beginning of class have assisted me to become a better writer. Just like its fundamental to practice math, it is also important to practice writing, and the Journals that I wrote since the begging of the course have assisted me to become a better writer, and the journals were the key. Week twelve, I went on the Internet to understand more about essay structure and now I can acknowledge it better. I have learned that the basic essay consists of three main parts introduction, body, and conclusion. By utilizing the Internet and following these steps and understanding the process with details have elevated my writing skills. The other problem I faced was with sentence structure, although it’s within my believe that I have understood the concept of sentence structure it still confuses me at times. In addition, the quizzes that I took although not directly related to writing, it has allowed me to read the transition to college writing and absorb how professionals write. The book not only contains important information on how to perfectly read, but it also contains a guide on how to be successful in college writing. I think students or anyone struggling with writing should take a look at the book. This semester started good but unseen circumstances have altered that. Even though we are currently operating differently we are still pushing through. I have enjoyed my UNIV 150 class, not only enjoy but I have also learned a great deal from it. At the start of the class, my writing skills were not good, but through my teacher, the internet, and different informative videos my ability to write has increased. I am happy that I got to learn something new that I can actually use in real life and thank you to my professor for guiding me and for making the class interesting.
