Writing Reflection Two
Reflection Essay two
The grades I received from essay one was not appealing. It gave me time to reflect on my writing skills and helped me pursue other options to advance my writing skills. I was not too disappointed with my mid-term grades; it has shown me that I am improving and that’s the important part. It has been six weeks since the start of UNIV 150 class, and I can say that my writing has improved since the begging of class. I am still struggling with punctuation, but the different websites I visited are showing me ways to understand it. YouTube videos are also great ways to learn, those videos are being uploaded by teachers, professors, and people with writing backgrounds. In addition to YouTube videos, books are also great sources that’s has helped me in this writing journey. I have managed to utilize “The transition to college writing” a book that came along with the course, it has helped me well. I am confident that I will pass my class with a c or even more. Essay two has shown me both the strength and weaknesses I developed in writing. My choice of words was limited in the first couple of weeks, but as time and my knowledge progressed, I was able to expand my word choices that’s one of the strengths I have developed. My weakness is a bit different because there is a lot of them, from punctuation to following a time sequence in my writing. Some of the important steps that I believe pushed me forward is asking for help whether it may be a teacher, parents, or even roommates. The next thing I feel is important is flowing the simple five steps of writing prewriting, writing, revision, editing, and finally publishing. The internet is a good place to understand those five steps clearly.
